The Ray Bearcats boys’ basketball team is currently mired in a three-game losing streak. It is the first time this season that the ‘Cats have lost consecutive games.

After winning five games in a row, the Bearcats lost at San Carlos, at Miami, and at Mogollon last week. The three away games were the last of five straight road games. After a home game versus Hayden on January 21, 2014, the ‘Cats will play two more roads games – at St. Johns (Jan. 24) and at San Manuel (Jan. 28). They are in a stretch of their schedule where they play seven of eight games on the road.

After the road contest at San Manuel on January 28, the Bearcats will play four of their remaining five games at home. Their lone road game during that five-game stretch is at Ft. Thomas on January 31. All games tipoff at 7:00 p.m. except the game at St. Johns, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
