  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Apr. 18

  Agency assist to serve court orders.

  A non-injury accident was reported on Hwy. 177.

Apr. 19

  A set of keys were found at Kearny Lake and turned into the police department.

  A suspicious person was reported.

Apr. 20

  Citizen assist with a fingerprinting request.

  A domestic disturbance was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Circle.

Apr. 21

  Citizen assist with a fingerprinting request.

  A snake was reported near the Credit Union.

  A domestic disturbance was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown.

  Michael Cooper, 52 of Kearny, was arrested on a warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

  Citizen assist with message delivery.

  A verbal warning was issued for an equipment violation.

  A verbal warning was issued at Hubbard Park for an after hours violation.

Apr. 22

  A neighbor dispute was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown.

  Citizen assist with fingerprinting request.

Apr. 23

  A noise disturbance was reported on Alden Rd.

  A burglary was reported on the 200 block of Greenwich.

  A welfare check was requested.

  Aggravated assault was reported in the area of Upton and Fairhaven.

  A suspicious driver was reported on 1100 block of Tilbury.

Apr. 24

  Suspicious activity was reported on the 400 block of Jamestown.

  Trespassing was reported at the Kearny Pool.

  During the period of Apr. 18 to Apr. 24 there were nine ambulance runs, one security check and two 911 hang-ups.
