According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. Jan. 27
Marcos Arbizo, 35, was arrested in the area of Bristol Rd. and Upton Dr. and was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was cited and released.
Jan. 28
Raymond Martinez, 23, was arrested at milepost 144 on Hwy. 177 and was charged with possession of marijuana. He was also arrested on a warrant. He was transported and booked into the Gila County Jail in Globe.
