Abandoned rooster?

Did he crow too much? Why was he abandoned?

Did he crow too much? Why was he abandoned?

  Well, this takes the cake.

On Saturday, May 28, a person stopped his station wagon on Fifth Ave. near the cross street, walked around to passenger’s side, took out something and threw it into the bushes.

My husband yelled, “This is not a dump. Pick up what you tossed.”

The man yelled back, “I can’t take it any more,” then drove off.

We watched what came out of the bush. To our surprise was a lovely Bantie rooster. This was Memorial weekend and nothing was open.  We called a friend; she called a neighbor. Within an hour he came with a helper, caught the little rooster and took him home.

Shame, shame on you, for just tossing him. No food. No water.

  Karma always comes back.

  View from our porch!
