  It’s finally open!

On Friday Jan. 29, 2016, the zipline near Oracle officially opened for business. Arizona Zipline Adventures celebrated its grand opening in style.

Brandon Luthy introduced his partners and thanked all of the people that helped make the zipline a reality. Brandon thanked Tim Kanavel, Pinal County Economic Development Director, for his support.

Speeches were made by Pinal County Supervisors Pete Rios and Todd House. All five Pinal County Supervisors showed up for the event. Former Secretary of State Ken Bennett was in attendance. He is running for Congress in District 1. Mayor Don Jones of Mammoth and Louie Bracamonte of Hayden attended as did representatives of the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition and the Arizona Trail.

Charley Goff rode the zipline, breaking or zipping the ribbon signifying that Arizona Zipline Adventures is now open. Pete Rios and Tim Kanavel also rode the zipline. The zipline is the first Zipline Eco Tour in southern Arizona and the longest zipline run (1,500 feet) in Arizona.
