Holy Week services will be held all around the Copper Basin this week in observance of the Passion of Our Lord and His Resurrection.
A Non-denomination Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Kearny Town Lake beginning at 6 a.m. Everyone is invited.
Church of the Good Shepherd, Senator Chastain St, Kearny, Pastor Nina Yardley:Maundy Thursday, the observance of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples, and communion, 7 p.m.Good Friday,the churchwill host a self guided non denominational Spiritual Walk through the Desert Garden. There will be nine Prayerful Stations that portray the last week of Jesus’ life. The scriptural basis is from the four Gospels. Everyone is invited to participate any time between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Good Shepherd Church will also host a non-denominationalEaster Sunrise Serviceon the Village Patio in front of thefellowship hallat 6 a.m. followed by breakfast. The public is invited. The main celebration ofEasterwill be held at 9 a.m. with fellowship hour in Ray Hall following.
