Lobo athletes honored at sports banquet

Jacob Manriquez –MVP Football presented by Coach Robert Manriquez.

Cheyanne Gaona- MVP Volleyball presented by Coach Marisa Gallego.

Outstanding Senior Female Student Athlete Award was presented to Shannon Lagunas. Outstanding Senior Male Student Athlete Award was presented to Jacob Manriquez.

All the student-athletes who were recognized at the Hayden High School Athletic Banquet.

Hayden High School honored its 2014-15 student-athletes at its annual Athletic Banquet, which was held on Tuesday, May 11, 2015 in the school gymnasium.

The following is a list of this year’s award winners:

Football MVP – Jacob Manriquez

Girls’ volleyball MVP – Cheyanne Gaona

Spiritline MVP (Football season) – Angelica Cabrera

Spiritline MVP (Basketball season) – Linda Kame

Boys’ basketball MVP – Guage Neal

Girls’ basketball MVP – Alexzandra “Lexi” Gomez

Wrestling MVP – Mychal Mariscal

Baseball MVP – Santiago Pina

Softball MVP – Jessica Lopez

Outstanding Senior Male Athlete – Jacob Manriquez

Outstanding Senior Female Athlete – Shannon Lagunas

The final two award winners won the prestigious Principal Award, which recognizes students exhibit great leadership, are very coachable, outstanding students, and practice and play hard every day.

Male Principal Award – Gabriel Mariscal

Female Principal Award – Angelica Cabrera
