The Lady Panthers volleyball team is making it look easy in the early season. They have swept all three matches they have played so far, going 3 – 0 to start the season.
Superior defeated Duncan and Globe last Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. They played Joseph City last Friday but results were not available at press time.
Junior Gabby Salcido was named Player of the Game in the victory over Duncan. She recorded 13 service points, including three aces. She also led the team with four kills. Pinky Thomas recorded two blocks and Hunter Flanagan had seven digs to lead the Panthers. Janessa Perez, Cierra Navarrette, and Salcido were next with five digs each.
The Panthers next scheduled match is at Ray on September 25 at 5:00 p.m.
