Four seniors were honored on Senior Night last Tuesday night before the game against third-ranked San Carlos.
Gabby Salcido, Silvia Longoria, Ariana San Miguel, and Phalicitee Thomas played in front of the home fans for the final time, albeit in a losing fashion.
The Lady Braves dominated Superior, as indicated by the 83 – 14 final score.
Longoria scored a team-high six points in her final home game and Thomas added two to go along with a team-high nine rebounds.
Andrew Luberda began writing for Copper Area News Publishers (CANP) in February 2013 after working 15 years in Healthcare Financial Management. Andy covers sports for 11 high schools.
