Superior Student’s of the Month enjoy lunch with Rotarians

Superior Rotarians gladly sponsor the Superior Student’s of the Month each month with a luncheon at Los Hermanos Restaurant. The Rotary Club is devoted to people who share enthusiasm for youth and the community. Rotary supports the educational ambitions of our future youth. The Rotary Club enjoys listening to the youth about the future goals and continued education.

This month’s students of the month are: Steven Byrd who is in the 10th grade, his parents are Brani and Bobby Martinez, he participates in football, baseball, basketball and FCCLA. After high school Steven plans to attend college and study Audio Engineering. Jesse Lopez who is in the 10th grade, his parents are Tommy and Kristen Lopez, he participates in baseball, basketball, football and FCCLA. After high school he plans on pursuing a career in Mechanical Engineering. Kassandra Baltierra who is in the 10th grade, her parents are Ginny and Jesse Baltierra, she is interested in all sports but currently doesn’t play any sports. She participates in FCCLA, DECA and NHS. After high school she plans to attend college to become an Orthopedic Pediatric Surgeon. Angelica Ocho who is in the eighth grade lives with her mother Monica Ochoa. She participates in volleyball and basketball. After high school she wishes to attend the Navy and become a police officer. Alondra Munoz-Ochoa who is in the seventh grade, her parents are Anelma Ochoa and Andrew Munoz. In the past she played basketball but currently is not playing any sports. After high school she would like to attend Grand Canyon University and study to be an architect. Elizabeth Valdez who is in the seventh grade, her parents are Alycia and Lelande Valdez. She enjoys playing volleyball, basketball and softball. After high school she would like to become a veterinarian and help support her family.

The Superior Rotarians find pleasure in hearing from the youth and their future goals. The Rotarians would like to thank Angela Brammer for chaperoning the students to attend lunch with the Rotarians each month. The Superior Rotary meets every Tuesday at noon for a luncheon at Los Hermanos Ballroom. Please feel free to stop in and visit to see what is new with the Superior Rotary.
