Steven Paul Bribiescas

  Steven Paul Bribiescas, 50, born Oct. 10, 1965 in Globe, Arizona, and raised in Superior, Arizona, died unexpectedly at his home in Phoenix on April 25, 2016.  

  Steve served 30 years in law enforcement and was currently working for the Maricopa Police Department as a Detective.

  A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at the Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ 85284 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the same location.

  Steve is survived by his son, Christian Bribiescas; fiancée, Tanya Yono; parents, Henry and Mellie Bribiescas of Mesa; brother, Henry A. Bribiescas of Mesa (Valerie); brother, William E. Bribiescas of Apache Junction; sister, Sonia of Mesa; nephews, William E. Bribiescas Jr. and Joshua Bribiescas; nieces, Lauren Allen (Matt), Ashley Brown (Freddie), Monique Bribiescas and Shauna Bribiescas; and many great nephews and nieces.  

  Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, Escolastica Monarez Padilla in 1980, Bernardo N. Padilla in 1984, Ascension Bribiescas in 1984 and Petra Nieves Bribiescas in 1985.
