Why Would Cavanaugh Vote to Reject Multi-Million Dollar COVID-19 Relief Funds?

On Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2021, the Pinal County Supervisor for the mountain area and District 1 voted with two other conservative members of the board to reject $3.4 million (from the State of Arizona and federal government ) that was to be used for COVID-19 relief and vaccinations.

Even though Mr. Kevin Cavanaugh has previously  cast some other questionable votes for the Tri Community and the Copper Basin area, I have refrained from commenting. But when it comes to a deadly disease like COVID-19 I have to speak up.

You may want to call Mr. Cavanaugh at the Mammoth office at 520-866-7830 and ask him to please reconsider his vote.  Many rural constituents are depending on this funding. They don’t want to suffer or die of COVID-19.
