Rachel Chavez, 56, passed away July 26, 2017 at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa due to health complications.
She leaves behind her mother, Rachel Chavez; daughter, Victoria Gudino; son, Sergio Gudino; daughter-in-law, Nicole Benally; grandson, Dorien Gudino; soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Ava Gudino; brothers, Alex Chavez, Jerry Moreno and Manuel Moreno; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She worked at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Superior for more than 20 years and she enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting and casinos.
Services for Rachel will be held Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne, Mesa.
