ASU real estate/development expert speaking in Superior about the proposed Resolution Copper Mine

  The next meeting of the Town of Superior Community Working Group (CWG) will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the Superior Chamber of Commerce meeting room.  Mark Stapp, Director of the Master of Real Estate program at Arizona State University, will speak with the group about effects of the proposed Resolution Copper mine on local and area real estate values and development.

  The CWG is comprised of Town of Superior, Queen Valley, and other area residents and stakeholders. The group meets regularly to talk about the social and environmental issues, science, and policy, as well as the pros and cons of the proposed Resolution Copper Project. Topics include environmental impacts, health, safety, natural resource issues, engineering, water quantity and quality, geology, economics, air quality, community investments, recreational changes and other related subjects of community concern. 

  CWG meetings are held at the Superior Chamber of Commerce at 165 West Main in Superior from 6-8 p.m., most often on the second Wednesday of each month. The public is invited and time is reserved on the agenda for public comments, questions, and discussion.
