Gila Community College (GCC) welding instructor, Clyde Miller, took delivery of GCC’s new welding simulator on Wednesday, June 25. The simulator was made possible through a grant from Freeport-McMoRan, Inc.
The welding simulator is used to provide training for various types of welding and fabrication. GCC provides training in the field of welding for high school students through the Cobre Valley Institute of Technology (CVIT) and for adult learners.
