According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

April 11

Burglary was reported in the 800 block of Church Ave.

A person was reported missing in the 700 block of Valentine St.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 300 block of Wight St.

Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of Main St.

Charlotte A. Blair, 72, Superior, was arrested in the 800 block of Western Ave. and was charged with disorderly conduct, leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run) and failure to provide information. She was cited and released.

April 12

An accident without injuries was reported in the 500 block of Main St.

April 14

Burglary was reported in the zero block of Kellner Ave.

April 15

Gregory G. Robinson, 47, Superior, was arrested in the 800 block of Hwy. 60 and was charged with disorderly conduct. He was cited and released.

Violation of a court order was reported in the 300 block of Magma Flats St.

April 16

Anthony Mayer, 25, Superior, was arrested in the area of Mary Dr. and Golf Course Rd. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.

An accident without injuries was reported in the area of Magma Ave. and Copper St.

Calls not listed include disturbance (2), traffic stop (9), information (7), suspicious activity (4), welfare check (4), animal complaint (1), alarm drop (2), agency assist (2), neighbor complaint (1), juvenile complaint (1), city code violation (1) and fire (1).

Citizens are reminded to call Silent Witness at 1-800-358-INFO, Crime Stop at 689-5611 or the Information Tip Line at 520-827-0065 if they have information that may help the police department in solving a crime.

The Superior Police and Fire Departments have contracted all dispatch services to the Pinal County Sheriff (POLICE) and Florence PD (FIRE). As a result of these changes, you need to know some new phone numbers.
