South beats North in Division IV AzBCA All-Star Game

The Arizona Baseball Coaches Association Division IV All-Star game was played last Saturday night at Surprise Stadium. The South team, with four players from copper corridor schools, defeated the North team, 14 – 6.

Anthony Garcia and Richard Romo from San Manuel, Dominic Bravo from Ray, and Cesar Villalobos from Superior were all selected to the South All-Star roster.

The Miners’ Anthony Garcia pitched three scoreless innings, allowing only one hit.

The AzBCA All-Star game is played each year. Players selected to play in the game are all seniors.
