Two Pinal County students have been awarded scholarships from the Pinal County Juvenile Court Community Advisory Board (CAB).

Each year the CAB sponsors scholarship opportunities for young people who are successful in their decisions to lead healthy, productive lives. The students will be able to use the money to assist with books, tuition or other related fees at their school of choice.

Eva Villalobos and Maria Barreras, both of Superior, have been awarded $250 scholarships.

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a group of volunteers representing diverse cultural, professional, and community backgrounds who are appointed by the presiding Juvenile Judge to help evaluate and enhance services provided by Juvenile Court Services.  The common interest is to ensure the Juvenile Court practices continue to reflect the best interests of youth, families, victims and the community.

For more information about the Community Advisory Board, contact Donna McBride at 520-866-4405 or DMcBride@Courts.az.gov.
