Pastor’s Corner: Paying Attention to God

In Jeremiah 44:4 & 5 we read, “Again and again I sent My servants the prophets to My people to warn them to live in obedience.  They did not listen or pay attention; they did not turn and obey.”

It became necessary for God to “spank” His wayward children.  None of us likes it when we are on the receiving end of God’s discipline.  He really means business when it comes to obedience.

We stray from the right path because we have a mind of our own and like to do our own ‘thing.’  We must realize that despite the plans we have made, God has a plan that is personally designed for each of us.

Listen to the prophets and ministers of God.  Hear the message of love from Heaven.  Pay attention to what God requires of those who believe in Him and follow Him.  It is a life changing experience filled with blessings from the Lord.  Enjoy walking and living in His love, mercy, forgiveness and favor.
