Pastor’s Corner: Correctly guided through life

Reading in Psalm 143:8 & 10,  “I have put my trust in You.  Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.  Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good and Holy Spirit lead me on level ground.”

‘Show me my path, Lord,’ is the heart’s cry of most every believer.  The desire is to be guided correctly through this life; instead of constantly bumping into obstacles, tripping over things and taking detours.

We trust in the Lord to lead us on the correct path.  There are many roads to take in life.  Some are bad and just plain wrong.  Some are good and some are better.  Some are difficult and some are easy.  Even the best of roads can be difficult at times.

When I put my trust in Him, the Holy Spirit will guide me, constantly teaching me just how to accomplish God’s will for my life.  In Him, I will not fail.  I will rejoice and be exceedingly glad for His loving kindness and faithfulness.  My soul will bless the Lord as I walk in victory.

When you trust in the Lord, you must not depend on your human understanding.  You engage the spiritual side of life and move with confidence; because true holiness cannot lead you astray.  The light of God’s Glory will light up the path before you, leading to your heavenly inheritance.  Go with God!
