After a week off, the baseball team returned to action last week with games versus Bowie and Desert Christian. The Panthers defeated Bowie last Thursday, 9 – 1, before losing to Desert Christian last Friday, 17 – 0.
Caesar Villalobos, Nicholas Cruz, and Daniel Ramirez each had 2 hits in the win over Bowie. Villalobos and Cruz each had 2 RBI.
Ricky Longoria was with winning pitcher. He combined with freshman Jessie Lopez to limit Bowie to 1 run in the game. Longoria struck out 10 Bowie hitters in the game.
Upcoming schedule: Apr. 2 vs. Hayden. The game begins at 2:00 p.m.
