Medley given Goldwater Award

John Medley of Oracle recently gave a presentation at the 56th Annual History Convention in Tucson. His presentation was titled, “Lettuce and Landscapes: An Illustrated History of Commercial Row Crops in the Arizona Desert 1920-1960.” His paper won the prestigious Barry M. Goldwater Award for Best Convention Paper. Besides being awarded a plaque for having the best paper of more than 45 accepted for the convention, he received an additional prize of $750.
