According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. May 9
A resident on Tiger Dr. reported that a neighbor’s dog had jumped on her car and scratched it. An officer spoke with both parties. The dog’s owner agreed to chain the dog.
May 14
A resident on Hwy. 77 reported that her dog had got out of the yard and was missing. Officer was unable to locate the dog.
A person on Fourth St. wanted to know how far a plant could stick out of the back of a vehicle without needing red flags.
A Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputy called and reported they had located a basset hound on Hwy. 77 near the trailer park.
May 15
A resident reported that two dogs were missing. They were located near the Little League field.
A person came into the police station to ask some questions about regarding sex offender laws. An officer gave out the information.
A possible drunk driver was reported to Mammoth Police. The information was turned over to DPS as the alleged drunk driver was headed towards San Manuel.
