The Superior softball team improved to 4 – 0 after a 6 – 2 victory at Pima last Friday.
Marisa Estatico and Anisah Cardenas, both juniors, each had two hits and two RBI in the win. Lindsay Ketron, another junior, also had two hits, including a double and drove in a run.
Starting pitcher Alicia Arriola picked up her fourth win of the year, throwing a complete game in which she allowed one earned run on three hits with 10 strikeouts and a pair of walks. The senior ace also went 2-for-4 at the plate, including a double, which was one of four extra-base hits in the game by the Lady Panthers.
