Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles traveled to Superior on Friday to present a check to Vice Mayor Olga Lopez and Interim Town Manager Margaret Gaston. The $2,500 check which was made up of RICO funds will go towards the town’s operating costs at the swimming pool this summer.
Voyles explained that when they prosecute drug dealers in Pinal County, they go after all assets: homes, cars and bank accounts. The funds that are seized goes to help the county to purchase safety equipment. It also provide the funds to community programs that help to provide positive activities in the communities of Pinal County.
