Capt. Michael A. Barragan “Mike”, 57, of Superior, Arizona passed away July 11, 2017 at Banner Desert Hospital.
Capt. Michael Barragan was born on Oct. 27, 1959 at Magma Hospital in Superior, Arizona to mother Estella Ruiz and father Miguel Barragan, who raised a young man to be a firefighter of 27 years, a miner of 10 years, correctional officer of 18 years, a tee ball coach for Little League and a mentor to many.
Michael is survived by his mother, Estella; wife, Sandra; son, Jason; daughter, Alyssa; sister, Lindy; and three grandchildren, Lexani, Leland and Jayce.
Services were held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior, Arizona. Visitation was at 9 a.m., Rosary was at 9:30 a.m., Mass was at 10 a.m., and the Reception followed at the Magma Club in Superior, Arizona.
