Superior –  It’s almost time for the 2016-2017 school year to start for Superior students. Which means this is also the time of year when parents and soon-to-be students, alike, start to panic, wondering just when they should do this, if they remembered to do that, and, trying to stock up on all the needful things while they are still on sale.

Consider this your mini-memory enhancement guide to help you get to the right places at the right times to get the school year started off right. No, sorry, it won’t help you find the coolest gear or an alarm clock that actually props a person up and sends them on their way, but, we can help you, thanks to the information submitted from the JFK Elementary and Superior Jr/ Sr. High, to meet the teachers and get to the first class on time.

First up, JFK Elementary, where on Monday, Aug. 1, they will be holding Meet Your Teacher Night. This will be followed by the first day of school for grades 1 through 6 on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
