The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

Feb. 2
Roberto Montano, 35, Superior, was arrested in the area of Belmont Ave. and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
Christopher Serrano, 50, Tucson, was arrested in the area of U.S. Hwy. 60 and Western Ave. and was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. He was cited and released.
Feb. 3
Theft was reported in the 300 block of Kellner Ave.
An accident without injuries occurred in the 1200 block of U.S. Hwy. 60.
Feb. 5
Manuel Dominguez, 35, Superior, was arrested in the area of Gibbs St. and Church Ave. and was charged with resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Feb. 6
Theft was reported in the 500 block of U.S. Hwy. 60.
Feb. 7
Theft was reported in the 100 block of Porphyry St.
David T. Nelson, 78, transient, was arrested in the area of Lobb Ave. and Main St. and was charged with assault. He was cited and released.
Wallace R. Bowlen, 33, Superior, was arrested at milepost 227 on U.S. Hwy. 60 on Pinal County civil warrants for driving on a suspended license, driving while under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and assault. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Feb. 8
A narcotics offense was reported in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

Feb. 11
Kristel M. Gerola, 34, Superior, was arrested in the area of Pinal Ave. and Porphyry St. on a contempt of court felony warrant issued out of Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
William D. Contreras, 43, Superior, was arrested in the 100 block of Bridge St. on two failure to appear warrants issued out of Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Feb. 12
Deanndrin N. Mendez, 22, Superior, was arrested in the area of U.S. Hwy. 60 and Panther Dr. and was charged with trespassing. She was cited and released.
Feb. 13
Carlos F. Chavez, 27, Superior, was arrested in the 1100 block of U.S. Hwy. 60 and was charged with criminal trespassing and threatening/intimidation. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
John S. Chavez, 62, Superior, was arrested in the 1100 block of U.S. Hwy. 60 and was charged with disorderly conduct and threatening/intimidation. He was cited and released.
Feb. 14

Feb. 15
Theft was reported in the 500 block of U.S. Hwy. 60.

Superior Police want to remind drivers to obey all the speed limits in the construction zone on U.S. Hwy. 60. ADOT is paying the Superior Police to do extra patrol in the construction zones to enforce speed limits during working hours. Fines are double in the construction zone while workers are present.
The Superior Police and Fire Departments have contracted all dispatch services to the Pinal County Sheriff (POLICE) and Florence PD (FIRE). As a result of these changes, you need to know some new phone numbers.
