Mike “Viejo” T. Arriola, 76, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, in Mesa, Ariz. Mike was born in Bisbee, Ariz., to father, Epitacio Arriola and mother, Dolores Tarrori Arriola.
Mike was an ASU fan “Go Sun Devils”. Mike worked for SRP as driver of utility, for 10 years in water treatment, Maricopa Co. and ASU as a custodian.
Mike is survived by: Freddie Sandoval, son, of Mesa, Ariz.; Christina (Raymond)Hernandez, daughter of Fresno, Calif.; Susie Arriola, daughter, of Mesa, Ariz.; Arnold Arriola, son, of Superior, Ariz.; Mike Jr. (Arlene), son, of Superior, Ariz.; Gloria (Frank) Aguilar, daughter, of Mesa, Ariz.; Bertha Hagin, sister; Theresa Vialobos, sister; Frank (Barbara) Arriola, brother; Arnold (Rosie) Arriola, brother; Alfonso Arriola, brother; 17 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Mike is preceded in death by: Olivia Arriola, wife; Epitacio and Dolores Arriola, parents; Socorro Vasquez, sister; Margarita Arriola, sister.
A visitation was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at Superior Life Restoration Center. The funeral service followed at noon on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at the Superior Life Restoration Center in Superior, Ariz.
