Kearny Elks receives and awards grants

  Thanks to the Arizona Elks Major Projects, Kearny Elks #2478 received a $1,000 commitment grant to be used in the community. 

Sheila Stephenson, Wanda Lundy, Carol Bonser

  Angela Buso, Treasurer, wrote the grant and Friends of the Library received $500 for Children’s programs and Kearny Little League received $500 to put toward new speakers for the Little League field.

  Sheila Stephenson, a member of the Kearny Elks and the AEMP Board of Directors, presented the grants last week. Wanda Lundy and Carol Bonser received the check on behalf of the Friends of the Kearny Library; and Kari Ramsey represented the Kearny Little League.
