Kearny Elks to host indoor flea market

Kearny Elks Lodge will be hosting an indoor flea market on the weekend of Aug. 6, which will be free to the public to attend. This is a good opportunity to look for bargain deals on needed items or future gifts, as well as getting out into the community and visiting with friends and neighbors while beating the heat.

As the flyer that the Elks have put out says, “Shop cool. Keep out of the sun. Shop many garage sales in one stop.”

For those who are more in need of clearing and cleaning the house than adding items in, this is an excellent opportunity to inexpensively access many shoppers who are definitely in the mood to buy and turn your excess treasures into extra cash. A 12 ‘ x 12’ space rental is $25 per market, which includes one table and two chairs. For more information on renting a space call Wanda at 520-356-7626 or 928-812-5701.

The flea market will be held from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, and 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7. Save the dates and make your plans for what you want to look for, and, or, what you want to offer for sale.
