passed away on Oct. 31, 2014 after a short illness in Chandler, Ariz. Hospice. Iva was born in Aspermont, TX. on Aug. 20, 1922. She enjoyed ceramics and won many blue ribbons for her creations. Iva loved being around grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco Garcia, brother Jack Gray, sisters Jan Baca, Bobbie Joyce Lee, parents Ophelia Gray and John Poke Gray, daughter Rhonda Milton. She is survived by her sisters Arlis Parker of Stevenville, TX., Wana Rash (Joe Boy) of Peacock, TX., and Swana (Truman) Flowers of Hobbs, NM; daughters Peggy Bernes of Chandler and Linda Vargas of San Manuel; son Don Ross of Chandler, 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
