FLORENCE – Pinal County’s Open Space and Trails Department will be assisting with a broken glass clean-up on Arizona State Trust Lands adjacent to the Florence-Kelvin Trailhead of the Arizona Trail on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“This is being headed up by a group called Natural Restorations, in partnership with the Arizona State Land Department and the Arizona Trail Association,” stated Kent Taylor, Open Space and Trails Director.  “They will be out there helping to beautify the trailhead and surrounding area.”

The Arizona Trail is a National Scenic Trail that stretches from the border of Mexico north to the Arizona-Utah border.  The trail crosses Pinal County north from the Coronado National Forest through Oracle, Superior and the Tonto National Forest.

To volunteer to help out with the clean up or for more information, contact Nicole at contact@naturalrestorations.org, or call 480-628-3903.
