John Canez, 62, of Mesa, Arizona entered eternal rest Jan. 19, 2021. He was born July 1,1958 at Williams Air Force Base and raised in Superior, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret D. Canez, and survived by his brother, George (Andrea) Canez; sisters, Marie Espinoza and Gina Gomez; and daughter, Crystal Morales. He had 10 nieces and nephews and 30 great nieces and nephews whom he loved so much.

He worked for the Mesa Public School District for many years and would always say he could not wait to retire! He was almost there! You will be deeply missed, and you are loved by so many. We will never forget you and always cheer on your “Devils” every time they are on. Until we meet again fly high and enjoy the time with Nana as we know you are.

Due to COVID-19, the church ceremonies will be held for only close family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Superior Funeral Home. www.SuperiorFuneral.com 520-689-2692
