  Armando P. Reyna, 88 of Yuma, AZ  passed away on Dec. 15, 2020. Armando was born and raised in Superior, AZ. He left Superior to serve in the US Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3584 in Superior. Upon his return he attended and graduated from Arizona State University and received his teaching degree. After graduating he went on to teach at Kofa High School in Yuma for over 30 years. 

  Armando loved Yuma, he made it his home. He had many friends and created a family who loved and cared for him as he aged. Rosalinda Bojórquez and Ramona Williams and their families will carry blessings forever for their love and care of Armando.

  He is survived by his only sister, Amparo “Ampy” Gomez, and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernestina and Ramon Reyna; his brothers, Hector and Arthur Apodaca, and Ralph, Oscar and Raymond Reyna. 

  The family would like to express our thanks to Hospice of Yuma and River Valley Estates for his care. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Yuma.

  A memorial service will held in January 2021 in Yuma and Superior.
