Alice Tafoya Kerrigan

  Alice Tafoya Kerrigan, 72, of Oro Valley and longtime resident of Oracle and San Manuel, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 2020. She was born on November 24, 1948 in Santa Rita, New Mexico.

  Alice was preceded in death by her mother and father, Roberto “Rudy” Tafoya and Aurora Tafoya; and her brother, Robert Tafoya.  She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Lewis; grandchildren, Paige and Aiden Lewis; her brothers, Joe Tafoya and Paul Tafoya; and her nieces and nephews, Veronica, Jenna, Christina and Paul Tafoya and their children.

  Alice was a loving; mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was loved by her family as well as her friends and customers at the Home Depot where she truly enjoyed working.

  A Celebration of Life will be held when it is safe to gather together and remember her properly. At that time, her ashes will then be spread over her parents’ gravesite in Oracle as per her final wishes.
