An Indoor Cornhole Tournament fundraiser is being held for the Winkelman Fire Department on Saturday Sept. 26, 2020 at Santa Rosa Café, 2615 S. 6th Avenue in Tucson. Sponsors for the tournament are OldPueblo Baggers, Elias Musitano, Frank Musitano, Dennis Weber and Guillermo Ortega Jr.

Proceeds from the tournament go to the Winkelman Fire Department to purchase swift water rescue equipment.

The Winkelman Fire Department has six members that are swift water certified. The fire department operates on a large section of the Gila River. The purchase of the swift water equipment will allow the Winkelman Fire Department to build a swift water team that can become part of the Gila County and Pinal County search and rescue.

The tournament’s entry fee is $15 per player. Check in is at 2:30 p.m. and bags fly at 3:00 p.m. The tournament lasts from 3 to 8 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be required. The first place winning team will receive a personalized journey courtesy of Divil Sports! There will also be raffle prizes.

If you are unable to attend but still want to help the Winkelman Fire Department, please donate to: VENMO: @Winkelman-Fire-675.

The Winkelman Fire Department crew, Divil Sports and OldPueblo Baggers invites everyone to enjoy an afternoon of Cornhole fun while helping out the Winkelman Fire Department which does so much for the community.
