Not much remains after a fire destroys unoccupied vehicle.
On June 4, the Superior Fire Department responded to an early morning vehicle fire. The Fire Department rolled up to a fully engulfed car on Highway 177 at Apache Leap road, according to Communication Officer Captain Richard Drennan. The car fire had spread and started a brush fire on the side of the highway. The Firefighters quickly put both fires out. The car was found to be unoccupied and DPS is investigating the incident.
