Margaret H. Lucero passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Lucero. She was born on July 20, 1925 in Silver City, NM to Salome Uerena and Rosalio Herrera, the youngest of 4 children.
At 18 she met John A. Lucero, the love of her life. They came to Superior in 1946 with 2 little girls, Soon after followed 5 more children. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Martha (Phil) Berthel of Duarte, CA, Mary Lou (Jeep) Diaz of Tempe, AZ, John (Doreen) Lucero of Superior, AZ, Mike (Pat) Lucero of Mesa, AZ, Emily (Chris) Huerta of Elko, NV, William Lucero of Superior, AZ and Klara Lucero of Flagstaff, AZ, 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Globe Christian Center in Globe, AZ. A reception followed at Globe Christian Center.
