Mayor’s Minute: Santa Needs Our Help

Superior Mayor Mila Besich-Lira

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Superior.  Our public works crew was able to refurbish our Christmas tree decorations with new LED lights that not only shine brighter but are also energy efficient.

The Superior Optimist Club hosted the 13th Annual Miracle on Main St. light parade, there was a great turnout and a record number of floats in the parade this year.  It was great to see so many of our children enjoying this special community event.

With the holidays in high gear, Santa needs our help.  The Superior police and fire departments are collecting toys and wrapping materials for the Toys for Tots program and the Christmas Eve Santa Visits.  Toys can be dropped off at Superior Town Hall, Random Boutique, Police Department or Fire Department.  All of these toys stay in Superior and are either given out for the Christmas Eve Santa visit or given to families who need help for the holidays.  If you would like to donate by cash or check please make the donation at the Superior Town Hall.
