Gerald G. Abril

  Gerald G. Abril, 58, passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 in Oro Valley, Arizona.  He was born on Oct. 12, 1957 to Roy O. and Sally Abril in Ray, Arizona. 

  Gerald worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at ASARCO for 26 years.  He enjoyed his Harley Davidson low rider and attended Stergis in South Dakota.

  Gerald loved his two dogs, Yoshi and CoCo.

  Gerald is preceded in death by his father, Roy Abril, and brother, Daniel Abril.

  He is survived by his mother, Sally Abril; his brothers, Louie (Lydia) Abril and Roy Abril II; sister, Sylvia McCormick; son, Christopher Abril; grandchild, Sayah Abril; and several nieces and nephews.

  His services were held Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at the Infant Jesus of Prague Parish. Interment followed at the Kearny Memorial Cemetery with a reception at the Infant Jesus of Prague Parish Hall.
