David Tomerlin

  David Tomerlin 45, of Omaha, Nebraska, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2016.

  David battled a lifelong genetic illness that was diagnosed after his military service. A former resident of Kearny, he graduated from Ray High School before serving in the Army.
  David was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He has left behind his wife, Tabitha Tomerlin; children, Nelson and Karrie Tomerlin; step-children, Bobby and Christopher Embree; dad, Jerry Tomerlin; and stepmother, Sharil Tomerlin; siblings, Danyl Tomerline, stepsister Amy Laiklam, stepbrother Justin Philpot and their spouses; nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He also left behind many who grew to love him and look up to him as a father and a friend.
  David is preceded in death by his mother, Kerry Tomerlin; and sisters, Dana Barbee and Debra Maldonado.

  He will be missed by many, but, is no more in pain. We love you, David Tomerlin.
