Superior Police Department

  According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

  Items are given to The Superior Sun by the Superior Police Department and reflect information available at the time the report is compiled.

Sept. 7

  Theft was reported in the 200 block of Crowe St.

  Petrina A. Talk, 40, Superior, was arrested in the 500 block of Porphyry St. and charged with aggravated assault/DV (domestic violence). She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Sept. 8

  A hit and run accident was reported in the 100 block of Bridge St.

Sept. 9

  Theft was reported in the zero block of Lobb Ave.

Sept. 10

  Assault was reported in the 200 block of Heiner Dr.

  Thomas Lopez, 64, Superior, was arrested in the 400 block of Copper St. and was charged with false reporting to law enforcement. He was cited and released.

Sept. 11

  Assault was reported in the 1100 block of Hwy. 60.

  Burglary was reported in the 200 block of High School Ave.

Sept 12

  Theft was reported in the 200 block of Main St.

Sept. 14

  Nicholas L. Snyder, 22, Superior, was arrested in the 400 block of Hill St. and was charged with criminal damage/DV and disorderly conduct/DV. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Sept. 15

  Criminal damage was reported in the 1100 block of Hwy. 60.

Sept. 16

  Assault was reported in the 400 block of Main St.

Sept. 18

  Daniel R. Olmos, 32, Superior, was arrested in the 600 block of Stone Ave. and was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Johnny Boggs, 49, Superior, was arrested in the 200 block of Kellner Ave. and was charged with kidnapping/DV and aggravated assault/DV. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

  Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

  Amy Borg, 48, Superior, was arrested in the 400 block of Copper St. and was charged with disorderly conduct/DV and threatening. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Sept. 23

  Veronica M. Velasquez, 25, Superior, was arrested in the area of Main St. and was charged with aggravated domestic violence, disorderly conduct/DV and harassment/ DV. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Sept. 25

  Theft was reported in the 200 block of Terrace Dr.

Sept. 26

  Olivia D. Carrillo, 36, Superior, was arrested in the zero block of Gorham St. and was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also arrested on six warrants for failure to appear issued out of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office  (PCSO). She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

  Criminal damage was reported in the zero block of McKelveyville Rd.

Sept. 27

  An accident without injuries was reported in the area of Golf Course Rd.

  Criminal damage was reported in the 200 block of Smith Dr.

  Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

  Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Hill St.

Sept. 28

  Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

  A vehicle was reported stolen in the zero block of Medlock Dr.

Edward J. Sinteral, 30, Superior, was arrested in the area of Gibbs St. and Stone Ave. on a warrant for probation violation and a warrant for pre-adjudication rule for criminal trespassing, issued out of PCSO. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Sept. 29

  A vehicle was reported stolen in the zero block of Medlock Dr.

Sept. 30

  Theft was reported in the 500 block of Brown St.

  Theft was reported in the 800 block of Stone Ave.

  Burglary was reported in the zero block of Medlock Dr.

Oct. 2

  Theft was reported in the zero block of Medlock Dr.

Oct. 3

  Theft was reported in the 400 block of Copper St.

  Assault was reported in the 400 block of Main St.
