Students of the Month named by Superior Rotary

  The Superior Rotary Club celebrated the November Students of the Month with a pizza lunch. The students were invited to the weekly rotary club meeting where they were introduced to the rotary members. The rotatory members and the students enjoyed getting to know each other while eating pizza, chips and soda.

  The criteria for being student of the month is a combination of: Grades, Attendance, Extra Curriculum Activities, and overall character.

  November Students of The Month are:

  Aubryana Preciado from Superior Junior High. Aubryana is in the 7th grade. Angel Preciado is her parent/guardian. Aubryana is in the National Junior Honor Society, Student Council and she plays basketball. Her plans after high school are to go to college and have a career as a registered nurse.

  Andrew Pina from Superior Junior High. Andrew is in the 8th grade. His parents are Audrey Martinez and Freddie Martinez. Andrew is involved in both football and basketball at the school. When he grows up he would like to study Forensic Science.

  Ashley Lira from Superior High School. Ashely is in the 11th grade. Her parents are Mila and Jose Lira. Ashley is involved in cheer for both the football and basketball team. She is the Treasurer of the FCCLA, the President of the Student Junior Class and DECA member.  When Ashley grows up she wants to go to cosmetology school and become a make-up artist.

Robert Soto from Superior High School. Robert is in the 11th grade. His parent/guardian is Lisa Holberook. Robert is not currently in any clubs or playing any sports. Robert is not sure exactly what he wants to be when he grows up, but in the running is a police officer and a veterinarian.
