San Manuel swimmer Wayne Newman makes all-star team

Wayne Newman

Wayne Newman, senior at San Manuel High School, was selected for the second team for the 2012 Fall Southern Arizona All Star Teams.

According to the Arizona Daily Star’s edition on Dec. 2, 2012, selections are based on staff observations and collected statistics in consultation with area coaches. Wayne was selected for the 100-meter breast stroke in Boys Swimming.

Wayne’s swimming coach is Alex Gort, head coach for the San Manuel High School Swim Team. Wayne is the son of Patrick and Julie Newman of San Manuel.
