The Ray Junior High Science students invite the public to the Rocket Launch this week. Students have been studying many science topics that will terminate or are included in rocket building and rocket flying (launching).
Everyone is invited to come and watch as the rockets take flight. Check with students as to what time they will be launching their rocket, but those interested may attend at any time.
Times Approximate
First Period: 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Second Period: 9:04 a.m. – 10:04 a.m.
Fourth Period: 11:12 a.m. – 12:12 p.m.
Fifth Period: 12:50 p.m. – 1:35 p.m.
Please check in to the office upon arrival, there will be a sign-in sheet specifically for the rocket launch.
Launch Schedule Information:
Wednesday, March 11: Launch for data recording, height, speed, time, etc.
Thursday, March 12: Launch for fun
There is a “Safety Issue” with the firing of rockets, so small children must be supervised and controlled at all times. There will be a safe distance that spectators will be allowed to maintain for safe viewing.
