Pastor’s Corner: God Can Bring Us Back to Life

A summary of Ezekiel 37:11-14 says:  ‘We are dead and our hope is gone.’  The Lord says, ‘I will open your graves and bring you back, then you will know that I am the Lord and that I have spoken!’

It doesn’t matter how far down we are or go; God is capable of bringing us back to life.  He is the one who created life by breathing into us the breath of life through the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, He is ‘everywhere present’ and always with us.

We are not alone, unless we choose to walk away from Him.  But realize, nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; He sees all and knows all.

If it seems as though your hope is dashed to pieces and gone, read through the Psalms and the New Testament Gospels.  You will find a purpose for your life and a reason to hope.  The Lord will speak peace into you and fill you with strength for each day.  You are alive!
