May 1
Officer reported to 300 block of S. Hwy. 77 to check on a person selling tomato plants on the side of the road. The person did not have a Mammoth business license and said she would pack up and leave.
A report of a missing person was received. Reporting party’s daughter had run away and left a note.
May 2
An officer was requested at an address on Verdugo St. When the officer arrived, the woman reported she had found a dead bird on her chair. She wanted to know if it was some kind of gang sign.
May 3
A 911 caller reported that a male suspect who she named had stolen items from her residence on Owens St. The caller reported that the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, ball cap and sunglasses and was running towards Ysidro Park. An officer responded and was advised that the suspect had been picked up by a gold colored F250. DPS and Pinal County deputies were notified
May 5
An order of protection was served to a local resident. DPS and Pinal County were called in as backup.
May 6
A report of an unwanted person at an address on Hetzel Ave. was received. Officer was unable to make contact with the unwanted person as they had left the scene.
May 8
A father reported that his missing daughter had returned home. Her name was removed as a missing person from ACJIS.
A family disturbance was reported on E. Vierros. An Officer responded and the dispute was settled.
May 9
A party reported that her lock had been picked at her house on Catalina St. An officer responded and told the party the lock was starting to stick and there were no signs that it had been picked. Nothing was missing from the house.
May 10
An officer was requested to look for the reporting party’s teenage son. The officer was asked to check a residence on Crenshaw for her son. The residence was checked with no contact being made.
An officer was requested at an address on Hetzel Ave. for an unwanted person. The reporting female advised the officer that she had spoken to her cousin about him moving out but he had refused to do so. The officer spoke to both parties and advised them that nothing could be done until he spoke with the reporting party’s mother, the owner of the home. When the mother arrived, the cousin agreed to leave for the night and would be staying at his aunt’s house until a landlord/tenant agreement is made between the homeowner and himself.
