Local elected officials from the Copper Corridor had the opportunity to have a joint meeting with the newly hired President of Central Arizona College.

Dr. Jackie Elliot was selected as the President of CAC following a nationwide search following the retirement of former President Doris Helmich.

Dr. Elliot explained to the rural Pinal County elected leaders that she intends to keep the Aravaipa Campus open and also help to create programs that are relevant to the needs of today’s workforce.
