Applications available now for Mammoth STEM kindergarten

Mammoth Elementary STEM School is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 Kindergarten class.  Applications are available at Mammoth Elementary STEM School or at First Avenue Elementary School starting on April 8, 2013.  The deadline to turn in all applications is May 7, 2013 by 3:30 p.m. to either elementary school in the Mammoth-San Manuel USD.  Late applications will not be accepted.

The drawing for the 2013-2014 Kindergarten Class will be held in the Mammoth Elementary STEM School Cafeteria on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 4 p.m.  Incoming 5-year-old students with siblings already enrolled at Mammoth Elementary STEM School will be admitted first.  This year’s lottery drawing will be limited to 15 students; all other students after the initial 15 will be placed on a waiting list in the order of which they are drawn. 

  Mammoth Elementary STEM School expectations include: no more than five unexcused absences or tardies, remaining in school the entire day, maintaining a 75% GPA or higher, completing homework on a daily basis, three community service projects, less than three disciplinary issues and ongoing parental involvement.
